Gross regular portion of the pay in lieu of notice. This amount is used as the assessment basis for tax and social insurance.
Notes
The amount is taxed in accordance with § 67 (8b) of the EStG: 1/5 remains tax-exempt, while 4/5 are taxed at the standard rate (in 2009).
