Use

You can use this function to delete an existing absence.

This function is available whenever the Absences infotype (2001) contains an absence.

Example

• Employee was not ill for as long as expected
  You have entered an absence with the absence type Illness for a given employee. You presumed the employee would be ill for two weeks. However, the employee got better quicker than expected and was back at work again after just one week. Infotype 3248 contains an amended illness notification with an earlier end date. You want to delete the absence in infotype 2001 for the second week.
