Documentation
Definition
Defines the wage type that is used for storage of daily, weekly or hourly rate for calculation of leave or termination payment.
Use
Leave payment:
The valuation basis is multiplied by the number of days of leave not taken.
For example, the employee's entitlement is 30 days, and he has taken 20 days of leave. So, the balance is 10 days, which is multiplied by the daily rate stored in the valuation basis.
Termination payment:
The valuation basis is multiplied by the number of days remaining from the actual last working day until the official last working day.
For example, the employee gets the submit of resignation on 01.05.2001. Then, according to the contract, his official last working day would be on 01.06.2001, but the employer forces him to quit working on 22.05.2001. This is 10 days prior to the official last working day, so the 10 days are multiplied by the daily rate stored in the valuation basis.
The results of the above calculations are stored in the wage type that is specified in the Termination Payment Wage Type field.
