This Proration Rules are additional rules for the To Percentage and
From Percentage Fields.
Effects:
To Percentage From Percentage Prorate Hire Pro.Fire
1. No Reduction No Reduction Checked Checked
Result: No Reduction but inactive days(LWOP/UNAL) will be reduced
based on T5QPBS2F table and No pro-ration for Hiring and Firing Event.
2. No Reduction Partial Reduction Checked Checked
Result: Partial Reduction due to the Inactive days(LWOP/UNAL) will be
reduced based on T5QPBS2F table and pro-rate if there is hiring or
firing event occurs in the middle of the accrual period.
3. No Reduction Complete Reduction Checked Checked
Result: Complete Reduction due to the Inactive days(LWOP/UNAL) will be
reduced. No proration done for the Hiring and firing event.
Example:
Inactive days can be due to the employee joins in the middle of the
accrual period. For example if an employee joins on 01.10.2000 and
his anniversary year begin from 01.01.2000 and ends by 31.12.2000.
In the T5QPBS2F table you have configured the Reduce the inactive
days and in the "To Percentage" you have set it as No Reduction and
in "From percentage" you have set it as Partial reduction and in the
percentage field you have set it as 0 then system will reduce the
inactive days and it pro-rates the accrual from 01.10.2000 -
31.12.2000 due to the hiring and firing event.
