Definition

Groups the possible payment types in the Termination & Redundancy procedure.

Use

The payment type is defined in table Payment Type for Terminations & Redundancies (T5QPBS4A) and is used as a key in table Termination Payment Type (T5QPBS4B). The second key in table T5QPBS4B is the redundancy model, which is specified in table Redundancy Model (check table for feature 13RDN) (T5QPBS4M).

The attributes of a payment type are:

  • Payment category, which is specified in table T5QPBS4B, and
  • Payment formula, which is defined in table Payment Formula for termination and redundancy (T5QPBS4I).

Both of the attributes are used as a key in table Assignment between payment formula and payment rule group (T5QPBS4C).

Procedure

Example

  • In table T5QPBS4A, you define the following payment types:

    LEVP - Leave Payment

    LONP - Lieu of notice payment

    SVRP - Severance payment

  • In table T5QPBS4M, you define the redundancy model:

    VOLRED01 - Vol. Redundancy

  • In table T5QPBS4B, you use the redundancy model in combination with the different payment types to specify the payment category and the payment formula.
  • In table T5QPBS4C, you use the payment category and the payment formula as a key to specify payment details.
