Documentation
Definition
A payment rule group is a further specification of the payment formula.
Use
The payment rule group is defined in table Payment Rule Group for termination and redundancy (T5QPBS4J).
In table Termination Payment Type (T5QPBS4B), you specify a payment category and a payment formula. This combination is a key for table Assignment between payment formula and payment rule group (T5QPBS4C). Now, under this combination, you want to specify different payment rules for different leave types, for example, recreational leave and long service leave. So you can make use of this field.
In table Attribute for determining the flexible rules (T5QPBS4F), you use the payment rule group to specify general details for the calculation of payment. The specific details, dependent on Termination payment and Leave payment respectively, are defined in tables Termination Payment Rules (T5QPBS4D) and Leave Payment Rules (T5QPBS4E), where you can further break down the Termination and Leave payment rule group by using the flexible rules for termination payment and leave payment respectively.
Procedure
Example
- In table T5QPBS4B, you specify payment category LP (Leave Payment) and payment formula LF01 (Leave Formula 1) under the payment type LEVP (Leave Payment).
- In table T5QPBS4C, you use the specified payment category and payment formula for the leave payment, and additionally, you use payment rule group L001 for recreational leave and L002 for long service leave, both of which you have defined in table T5QPBS4J. So you can differentiate the details for different leave types.
- In table T5QPBS4F, you use the payment rule groups in conjunction with feature Return of flexible rules for leave payment calculation (13RIL), because this feature is used for Leave payment.
- In table T5QPBS4E, you can further differentiate every payment rule group by using the flexible rule for leave payment, which is the return value of feature 13RIL.
