Definition
Select this field if you want the absence quota to be taken into consideration if an organizational change occurs during the middle of the accrual period.
Example
Let us assume that an absence quota 60 has been assigned to a base entitlement of 10 days per accrual period, which is for example from 05.01.2000 to 19.01.2000, for organizational A. If an employee changes his organization from A to B during this period and the based entitlement is changed to 20 days per accrual period, then system will pro-rate the entitlement with number of days he served before organizational change and after organizational change.
If there are LWOP or unauthorized leaves in an accrual period and the setting in this table (T5QPBS2F) is option for reducing entitlement, the system considers such absences, for example split over the organizational changes, if the threshold value conditions are met. The formula is based on the AU-PS requirement: first reduce by absences in the corresponding period, then average over a leave accrual period. Similarly, system considers also inactive days and part time in an accrual period depending on configuration.
