Documentation

Definition

Defines whether an absence type should be counted as service or not.

Use

If this flag is ticked, the period of leave entered is not to count as service, that means the length of service may have an impact on next leave transfer or increment calculation.

If this flag is ticked, it checks the LWOP/UNAL impact on individual leave type table (T5QPBS2F) for leave without pay (LWOP) and unauthorized leave (UNAL) threshold values.

Example

If the absence type nature is LWOP and the Not to count as service flag is ticked, the T5QPBS2F table is checked for the threshold value. If the absence is greater than the threshold value, it will postpone the anniversary date or prorate the entitlement according to the configuration.
