Documentation
Definition
Specifies the kind of impact that takes place in case that the total LWOP passes the threshold value.
Procedure
Set the value for the impact type you get via the F4 help to specify if in case of LWOP the anniversary date is moved forward or the entitlement is pro-rated.
1. Move anniversary date forward by nos. of LWOP days
It will move the accrual by the number of LWOP days
2. Pro-rate the accrual by the nos. of LWOP days
It will reduce the accrual by number of LWOP days
3. No Impact/effect
No Impact on the accruals.
4. Move anniversary date forward by multiples of threshold
5. Pro-rate the accrual by multiples of threshold
For the options 4 & 5, Please see the following example:-
Let us assume the threshold is 30 days. If an employee takes 20
days LWOP in the anniversary year, there is no impact. If an employee
takes 31 days LWOP then the anniversary is deferred by 30 days or
reduced accordingly. If an employee takes 40 days LWOP then the
anniversary is deferred by 30 days or reduced accordingly.
If an employee takes 50 days LWOP then the anniversary is deferred by
30 days or reduced accordingly.
If an employee takes 61 days LWOP then the anniversary is deferred by
60 days or reduced accordingly.
If an employee takes 70 days LWOP then the anniversary is deferred by
60 days or reduced accordingly.
