Definition

CSS:

• Where the person was a permanent part time officer from commencement of the scheme.
• Where the person has worked part time continuously for 12 months.
• Where the delegate has certified there is a likehood that the person will be part time for 12 months.
• Where a person was a partial contributor under one of the above and has commenced or re-commenced full time work. The person remains a partial contributor until 12 months full time employment has been completed.

PSS:

There is no qualifying period as with CSS members. If you are working part time hours on your birthday, you will become a partial contributor the pay period your birthday falls due.
