Documentation
Definition
An employee can choose to convert the current leave taken to full or half pay at the front end. The setting for this is at leave level. The setting will split the full pay and half pay (together with other leave combination) into two different leave types.
Each leave type has a different counting rule, one to count at 100 % and the other to count as 50 %.
However, these two different leave types splitting at full and half pay level share the same absence quota type, which is because the counting rule is set at leave level.
Procedure
Examples
An employee works full time, and the leave is accrued annually. In Absences infotype (2001), the following records exist:
- One record with absence type 0900, full time and full pay, and the absence quota assigned is 90.
- One record with absence type 0901, full time and half pay, and the absence quota assigned is 90.
So absence types 0900 and 0901 share the same quota 90, but 0900 has a counting rule of 100% and 0901 has a counting rule of 50%.
Note
The counting rule assigned will be stored in the Absence infotype for Australia PS (0573). This is to facilitate the processing of deletion and modification of the leave records.
