Definition
Transfer of accrual in a possibly irregular anniversary month, year, and pay period respectively with consideration of an anniversary date change impacted by LWOP or unauthorized leave during the accrual periods.
The transfer time is always one day after the end date of the accrual period.
Note
This option is the same as the Transfer at regular period end date option in one of the following cases:
- The impact type in table LWOP/UNAL impact on individual leave type (T5QPBS2F) is set to pro-rate accrual.
- The impact type is set to move anniversary date, but the LWOP and unauthorized leave are less than the threshold value.
So, in both cases, the regular anniversary accrual periods are not changed.
Example
The period is anniversary month and the impact type in table T5QPBS2F is set to move anniversary date:
- The anniversary date is 15.03.1999; an employee takes less LWOP than the threshold value is. Then the transfer time points will be 15.04.1999, 15.05.1999, 15.06.1999, and so on, and 15.03.2000.
- The transfer time changes due to moving the anniversary date because of LWOP or unauthorized leave. If LWOP or unauthorized leave of 35 days defers the anniversary date, taking the data of the previous example, in accrual period from 15.05.1999 to 14.06.1999 to a new accrual period end date on 19.07.1999, then the new accrual period is from 15.05.1999 to 19.07.1999. No regular transfer happens on 15.06.1999 and 16.07.1999, and the next transfer date will be one day after the accrual period end date, that means on 20.07.1999.
For next accrual period and transfer, the system uses the new anniversary date 20.07.1999, that means the next transfer date is 20.08.1999. If LWOP or unauthorized leave appears again, system will calculate the next new anniversary date.
Special date handling due to special public sector requirement:
- The anniversary date is 30.01.1999. The transfer time points are 01.03.1999, 30.03.1999, 30.04.1999 and so on, and 30.01.2000.
- The anniversary date is 31.01.1999. The transfer time points are 01.03.1999, 31.03.1999, 01.05.1999, 31.05.1999 and so on, and 31.01.2000.
