Documentation
Definition
Defines that the determination of a transfer frequency is based on the length of service (LOS).
Use
By selecting the field, system will calculate your length of service with consideration of LWOP and unauthorized leave impact on LOS. It depends on the setting in table PS Specific Characteristic for absence type (T5QPBS2J) and, in case of prior service, on infotype Prior Service (0508) whether LWOP and unauthorized leave count as service.
In addition, system provides also flexibility to exclude the prior service for LOS calculation. The system defaults include prior service.
Example
Transfer shall take place firstly on the 10th year, then on the 12th year, and after this every year. Then you can set the transfer frequency rules in table Accrual transfer frequency rules (T5QPBS2G) by using the transfer frequency like 10, 2, and 1 with time unit 013 for years. This is a typical scenario for long service leave.
