Definition
Use Anniversary Month or extended anniversary month (caused by LWOP and unauthorized leave) as Accrual Period
Use
The accrual calculation is based on Anniversary Month with considering the Anniversary date change due to impact of LWOP/UNAL
This option is special option valid for Australia Public Service Market, especially for federal market. The option does provide much more different customization possibility than international options, for example:
a) Proration of entiltment due to organization change,
b) Proration of entiltment due to work schedule change,
c) Pusch Anniversary date by LWOP and unauthorized leave (T554S and T5QPBS2F)
d) Reducing entiltment based on T5QPBS2F,
e) Threshold value handling
f) Separate proration Option for Hiring and Termination (T559M_PBS)
g) LWOP and UNAL projection in accrual period (first proration, then average)
h) Flexiable transfer rule such as multiple transfer rule (t5qpbs2i, 2g tables)
i) Leave of prior service for LSL
...
The condition for using this option is: To configure all relevant PBS tables and international tables. If a customer wants to have the above functionality features for a leave accrual that does not starts from an anniversary date, but starts from a calender year, a calender month, or a calender pay period, this is not a problem at all due to generic design. You just do as you would to have an special anniversay date falls on calender year, calender month or calender pay period.
In this case, a configuration of t5qpbs2f, 2g, 2i needs to be done as business requirement requires. I0568 needs only to be created starting from a calender year, calender month or calender pay period. This means that PS option implys the international options.
From a user pespective, he just needs to create initial record for I0568 similar as maintaining all other infotypes. This is one time action at hiring. System will do all jobs afterwards. The impact detail of LWOP/UNAL on a leave accrual can be viewed via I0568. The leave accrual result (entiltment and leave accrual ) can be found via PT50.
Example
The following example is based on setting for non moving forward anniversary date (detail in T5QPBS2F):
a) Assuming that Anniversary Date is 15.01.1999. The system calculates accrual period as 15.01.1999 - 14.2.1999, 15.02.1999 - 14.3.1999, 15.03.1999 - 14.03.1999, ... and 15.12.1999 - 14.01.2000.
b) If Anniversary Date is 30.01.YYYY, Accrual time points are: 28.02.YYYY (29.02.YYYY in leap year), 29.03.YYYY, 29.04.YYYY.... and 29.01.YYYY+1.
c) If Anniversary Date is 31.01.YYYY, Accrual time points are similar as b): 28.02.YYYY (29.02.YYYY in leap year), 30.03.YYYY, 30.04.YYYY, 30.03.YYYY..and 30.01.YYYY+1
