Use

The system only selects the applicants whose application was received on the key date or during the period specified.

You can further delimit the selection by making additional entries in the Advertisement and Unsolicited application group fields.

Procedure

You can carry out the following types of evaluation:

• For entire period

  If you do not make any entries, the system automatically assigns the earliest system date as starting date and the latest system date as the end date.
  

• For partial periods

  To specify the period, enter the starting date in the left hand column and the end date in the right hand column.

  If you only enter an end date, the system automatically assigns the earliest system date as the starting date.
  

• For a key date

  If you only enter a date in the left hand column, the system selects records valid on that key date.

Examples

You want to create a list of applications for January 1995.

To do this you must enter 01011995 as the starting date in the Data selection period field and 31011995 as the end date.
