Definition
This date is used for the automatic assignment of the employer. An employee can be hired in different periods for different employers. Entering the date enables you to make a unique assignment. Infotype records are not displayed that are outside the validity period for the legal person (employer) valid on this date based on infotype 0001. Exception: This is defined explicitly for specific infotypes in Customizing.
Use
Enter the key date for the employer assignment. Generally, the current date should be sufficient as active employment relationships are queried. If this is not the case, you can influence the display by entering a date that lies in the period of a previous employment relationship.
An error message appears if the employee was not or is not in an employment relationship on the specified key date.
