Definition
Method associated to a retroactive accounting area to perform a retroactive accounting run.
The standard provides two methods, based on the following principles:
- Inflow principle: The original values of basis and contributions in each for-period are not modified when performing a retroactive accounting run. The differences between the new and the original values are transferred and added to the in-period.
- Principle of origin: The original values of basis and contributions in each for-period are modified when performing a retroactive accounting run.
