Definition
A retroactive accounting area is an independent functionality within the payroll (e.g. Social Security, Taxes, Severances...) that must be processed according to one of the standard methods (which are based on the inflow principle or in the principle of origin) when performing a retroactive accounting run.
The standard system offers different retroactive accounting areas. However, the customer can define his own areas with range Y* and Z*.
