Definition
This field allows each country specific conversion program to restrict the payroll results to be converted. Only results that had a pay period start date (RGDIR-FPBEG) on or after this date will be converted.
Use
Dependencies
This field will only appear in the selection screen of the country specific conversion program, if the country version has made major functionality changes in the versions recent history. The idea being that it may not be possible for some historical results to be converted successfully as they are radically different from the current solution.
Example
In 2001/2002, the GB country version was migrated from Version 2 of the payroll cluster to Version 3. This version change was necessary to control the migration from the "old" NI solution to the "new" NI solution. Customers had to decide how many results they would need to convert and all these would be changed to Version 3 as they were converted.
The payroll would not retro over unconverted results and these historical results would simply be accessible by a new payroll results display program (i.e. Version 2 specific).
This conversion program cannot successfully convert payroll results that were not successfully converted by the NI Re-write conversion program, so will ignore results before the date specified in this field.
