Definition
The field serves to identify periods in which the employee performed part-time work or engaged in an alternative activity due to a prohibition of employment.
This differentiation makes sense, for example, with Parental leave or Prohibition of employment. During these periods, part-time work or and alternative activity can be carried out. Neither are allowed during Maternity protection.
What is crucial for the possibility of being able to set this indicator for an absence is a corresponding entry in the table T5D0D Absences during maternity (DE).
Periods marked in this manner are not saved in infotype Absences (IT2001) but instead in infotype Part-time work/alt. activity (IT0597). In these cases, the data saved there can only be maintained via the infotype Maternity protection/parental leave (IT0080).
