The use depends on the country concerned:

  • Argentina: Tax number (such as CUIT)
  • Belgium: Ministry of finance registration number
  • Brazil: CGC if the Natural person indicator is not set, otherwise left blank
  • Chile: número de rol unico tributario (RUT)
  • Colombia: número de identificación tributaria (NIT)
  • Czech Republic: DIC
