Documentation
Definition
Shows if the time an employee works is summarized over the period that you enter in the Time/Measurement Unit field.
Use
If you enter any value in this field, the system interprets the personnel group's working time as a summarized time account and calculates the working time by taking the average working time over the period you select in the Time/Measurement Unit field.
If you leave the field blank, the system does not summarize the time that employees work over the period that you enter in the Time/Measurement Unit field.
Dependencies
Example
According to the standard employment contract in your company, your employees work 40 hours spread over five days a week.
However, due to fluctuations in demand, your employees' working time varies from week to week. You use the summarize function to determine the average working time over a period of six months.
