Definition

Shows the wage type code for salary-based payments that you make to your employees during the payroll run.

Use

As an employer, you manage amounts for social and payroll-based payments in different accounts.

The report uses the different categories of payments (for example, salary-based payments) on the output form, P-4, to show the source of an employer's outgoings.

You use wage type codes for the following groups of employees:

• Employees on the payroll
• Employees concurrently employed by the same employer
• Employees concurrently employed by different employers
• Contract workers
• All other employees
