Definition
Shows the mask that you can use to display the contents of a field.
Use
You can enter a mask in the field as an alternative to the predefined formats that you can select in the Output Format field.
The reports whose fields you you customize in this IMG activity enter the mask that you enter by means of the ABAP WRITE statement.
Dependencies
You have selected Mask in the Output Format field.
Example
You want to enter the contents of a date field in a form in the format DD:MM:YYYY. Since that output format is not available in the Output Format field, you can use the Mask field to specify the desired format.
Enter _:_:_ in the Mask field.
