Definition

Links the absence in the current infotype record with a previous absence.

Use

You use this field to include previous absences of the same absence type in the average calculation for paid absences.

You select the absence period whose data you want to include in the average calculation.

Dependencies

You set up links between absence types in the following Customizing activities:

• Define Absence Types
• Create Counting Classes for Absence Valuation
• Assign the Valuation of Averages to a Primary Wage Type

If you use the Subsequent Sickness field to take into account previous absences, the Abs. Link - Average (Absence Link for Average) field is read only; you select the required absence period by using the Subsequent Sickness field.

If you enter a date in the Abs. Link - Average (Absence Link for Average) field, you cannot enter a date in the Evaluation Date for Average Calculation field.
