Definition

Determines how the system calculates the adjustment factor that it applies to an employee's salary.

Use

To meet legal requirements in Russia, whenever there is a global salary increase in your company, you must apply an adjustment factor to your employees' salaries in the period before the global salary increase takes effect. You use the adjusted salary as the basis for calculating an employee's absence pay.

You choose the calculation algorithm that the system uses to calculate the adjustment factor based on the requirements of current legislation.

Dependencies

Example

Assume the following situation:

  • You grant all the employees in your company a salary increase of 5% on May 15
  • One of your employees takes a one-week vacation starting on July 10
  • Legislation requires you to calculate the adjustment factor that you apply to an employee#s salary for calculating absence pay based on the employee's salary following the global salary increase (as opposed to the employee's salary in the period in which he or she is absent)

To meet legal requirements, you choose Evaluate Salary after Last Global Salary Increase in this field.

To calculate the employee's vacation pay, the system determines the adjustment factor that it applies to the employee#s salary before May 15. To do this, the system divides the employee#s salary after the global salary increase (on May 15) by the employee#s salary before the global salary increase (on May 14).
