Definition

Specifies the amount of premium contribution to common life insurance that can be exempted from income tax calculation.

Use

Dependencies

The system compares the exemption amount of old contracts with the exemption of both old and new contracts. To maximize the income tax exemption for the employee, the system uses the larger of the two exemption amounts and displays it in this field.

The exemption amount of old contracts comes from the CLI exmp. amt (old) field. To calculate the exemption of both old and new contracts, the system sums the amounts in the CLI exmp. amt (old) and CLI exmp. amt (new) fields, and compares the sum with the exemption upper limit for one category of life insurance.
