Definition

Indicates the begin date of the employee's absence. This corresponds with the start date maintained in Absences (2001) infotype.

Example

Consider that an employee takes a leave of absence from January 20, 2010 to January 25, 2010 and again from January 28, 2010 to February 5, 2010. Here, the original absence begin date for the first record is January 20, 2010, and for the second record is January 28, 2010. This is irrespective of record splits on monthly basis or AP, TP and unpaid segments.

The system reads the begin date of the employee's absence from the Absences (2001) infotype and stores it in the RMB cluster table.
