Definition
The Norwegian absence evaluation segment specifies a time interval within one absence set with an evaluation according to legal regulations.
Example
The payment of a sickness is splitted in periods paid by the employer, an insurance agency, and out of payment. So three segments have to be specified that give the appropriate absence valuation rule for the according time interval.
