Definition

Use

Indicates the current status of the ITA88 recovery and the employee's ability to make the payment.

This field can have one of the following codes:

  • 01 - Indicates that the system has successfully processed the ITA88 recovery. The system loads the amount on to the ITA88 output file and the employer accepts responsibility for the deduction.
  • 02 - Indicates that the processing has failed since the employee does not exist on the payroll of the employer. All active ITA88 transactions against the specific taxpayer are to be cancelled.
  • 03 - Indicates that the processing has failed because the employee cannot afford to pay the ITA88 deduction full amount, hence short term agent appointment is requested. All active ITA88 transactions against the specific taxpayer are to be cancelled and replaced by a new ITA88 transaction allowing 3 equal monthly installments.
  • 04 - Indicates that the processing has failed because the employee cannot afford the short time deduction, hence long term agent appointment is requested. All active ITA88 transactions against the specific taxpayer are cancelled and the future phase will allow for long term ITA88.
  • 05 - Indicates that the processing has failed as the identified employee is deceased. All active ITA88 transactions against the specific taxpayer are to be cancelled.
  • 06 - Indicates that the processing has failed as the identified employee is insolvent. All active ITA88 transactions against the specific taxpayer are to be cancelled.

Note

The SAP system supports only the 01, 02 and 03 codes.

The ITA88 code applicable for this field is 3350.
