Documentation
Definition
Represents whether the user is expected to enter an amount and/or a percentage for the salary component on the Salary Packaging screen.
Procedure
Assign all new salary components with the relevant setting.
Note: The SAP standard salary components have been assigned the relevant Input setting.
Examples
The following options are available:
Amount on - Percent on = an amount or a percentage can be entered
Amount off - Percent on = only a percentage can be entered
Amount on - Percent off = only an amount can be entered
Amount off - Percent off = neither an amount nor a pecentage can
be entered.
Note
Based on the configuration of salary components, if you cannot make an entry in the amount field, this indicates that the system will perform a calculation, that is, the appropriate function module should be assigned to calculate the amount (as indicated in the Calculation field).
If an entry cannot be made in the percentage field, this indicates that this field is not applicable for the salary component.
