This field is only valid for South African Medical Aid and Pension Funds.
Determines what portion of the employee's total package is:
- Medical Aid applicable earnings
- Pensionable Income.
Procedure
If applicable, enter the relevant percentage amount.
Examples
70% of the employee's total package is his or her pensionable income. Therefore, 0.7 was entered in this field for the salary component Pension Fund.
