Definition

According to the Receiver of Revenue (SARS), a creator is any person/organization who files electronic tax returns to SARS (meeting the specified criteria) on behalf of himself/herself, or for other employers (bureaus).

Procedure

Set this indicator if the corresponding PAYE reference number is designated as the creator of the electronic tax return(s).

Example

An external bureau runs payroll for three subsidiaries of Company XYZ. While all four PAYE tax reference numbers will appear in table T5W66, only the external bureau will appear as the creator.
