Documentation
Definition
Maximal number of children (per Medical Aid scheme) for which a child contribution must be made. Additional child dependants are free.
Use
Dependencies
Example
For Medical Aid scheme 1, the child contribution is 50 ZAR and the maximal number of child dependants to be paid for is 3.
Therefore, if an employee selects the Medical Aid scheme 1 and would like to insure 5 child dependants, the employee must contribute 150 ZAR toward his or her medical aid scheme. That is, the employee has to pay 150 ZAR for the first 3 children whereas the additional 2 child dependants are free (3 * 50 ZAR = 150 ZAR).
