Definition
Specifies the account indicator issued to the employee's bank account by the ACB Magnetic Tape Service, which indicates whether or not a CDV (Check Digit Verification) check can be performed on the bank account.
Example
- If the employee's bank is computerized, a CDV check can be performed only on accounts with an account indicator of 1, 2, 3 or 4.
- If the employee's bank is not computerized, a CDV check can be performed only on accounts with an account indicator of 3 or 4.
