Definition
Natural persons, legal entities and companies are registered in the tax-records office according to special coding systems. One of these systems is represented by the tax number. The tax number of natural persons is a sixteen-character alphanumeric expression.
The first fifteen characters indicate the master data of each employee according the following sequence:
- three alphabetic characters for surname;
- three alphabetic characters for name;
- two numerical characters for birth year;
- one alphabetic character for birth month;
- two numerical characters for birth day and sex;
- four characters (one alphabetic and three numerical) for place of birth or birth foreign country.
The sixteenth character (alphabetic) has a control function.
According to a given algorithm, the system checks the indicator; in case of error the system displays a blocking message.
