Documentation
Definition
This field specifies the seniority of the employees. Every employee has a seniority level depending on their number of years of service in accordance to the company's rules. The number always specifies the upper limit.
Example
Seniority Period as per company rules:
01 - Less than or equal to 1 year of service.
02 - Less than or equal to 2 years of service but greater than 1
year.
03 - Less than or equal to 3 years of service but greater than 2
years.
99 - Above 3 years.
The calculation of the seniority depends upon the feature LEPFS.
To arrive at the right value of seniority from the table T5LER, the calculation is done such that, if the value for seniority calculated exists in the table, then this value is picked up or else the nearest higher value is taken.
For further information on the feature, please refer to the feature documentation.
