Documentation
Definition
Determines how absences booked for a future date are processed by the Leave Projection report.
Use
If you flag this field, the report displays the employer's leave liability including leave booked for a future date, that is, future absences are processed as if they have already been taken.
If you do not flag this field, the report displays the employer's total leave liability excluding leave booked for a future date.
Examples
You want to project an employee's annual leave to the end of the year (the projection date). The employee is eligible to 20 days leave a year, has already taken 10 days leave and has booked another five days leave between now and the end of the year. If you flag the field, the report processes the five days to be taken between now and the end of the year as if they have already been taken and displays a leave liability of 5 days only. If you do not flag the field, the report processes the five days leave as if they have not yet been taken and displays a leave liability of 10 days.
