Definition
Specifies the earnings ceiling for the relevant quarter.
Quarters are defined as January to March, April to June, July to September and October to December.
If the employee earns above the ceiling amount in a quarter, super guarantee contributions (SGC) are not effected on the excess amount.
The ceiling amount is subject to indexation and is updated every year.
