Documentation
Definition
Defines how many times the same transfer frequency is to be repeated.
Use
You can enter any whole number in this field. To calculate the transfer date, the transfer frequency is multiplied by this number. If you do not enter a number, the system repeats the transfer frequency continuously.
Example
A company has a long service leave rule stating that employees are entitled to take any long service leave that they have accrued after 10 years of service. After a total of 15 years of service, the employees are entitled to another five years of accrual. After a total of 20 years of service, the employees are entitled to another five years of accrual. From then on, the employees are entitled to the accrual after each year of service until the employees reach 30 years of service.
To configure this rule in the system, you enter the following in the Transfer Times group box:
Transfer Frequency 1 10 years
Transfer Frequency 2 5 years Multiplier 2
Transfer Frequency 3 1 year Multiplier 10
