Documentation
Definition
Refers to the employee's employment status at his previous employment(s) during the holiday reference year.
Use
This field determines how holiday pay is calculated.
- Previous employment status (during holiday service year): blue-collar worker.
Present employment status: - Blue-collar worker:
No calculation of holiday pay. - White-collar worker:
Calculation of double holiday pay with settlement of the holiday pay received from the holiday fund.
This settlement is carried out without comparing the old wage with the new one (see further). - Previous employment status (during holiday service year): white-collar worker.
Present employment status: - Blue-collar worker:
No calculation of holiday pay. - White-collar worker:
Calculation of double holiday pay with settlement of the holiday pay received from the previous employer. The new salary at the current company is compared with the old one at the previous employer. If the new salary is higher than the old one, the entire amount mentioned on the holiday certificate is deducted from the normal calculated holiday pay amount. If the new salary is lower than the old one, the amount(s) mentioned on the holiday certificate has to be recalculated, on the basis of the lower new salary. The amount of the recalculated double holiday pay is deducted from the normal calculated double holiday pay amount. Likewise, the amount of the recalculated single holiday pay is deducted from the employee's salary. - Previous employment status (during holiday reference year): temporary workforce.
Present employment status: - Blue-collar worker:
No calculation of holiday pay. - White-collar worker:
Calculation of double holiday pay with settlement of the holiday pay received from the holiday fund (without comparing the new salary with the old one).
If you want the system to compare the old wage with the new one for former blue-collar or interim workers, who are white-collar workers now, select 'White-collar worker' in the Employment status field.
