Documentation
Definition
Indicates a unique code that entitles the employee to reduced social insurance (SI) contributions for a specified duration.
Use
The code and its duration are recorded on the job card that the employee receives from the National Employment Office (ONEM/ RVA). Job cards outline the social insurance benefits that apply when the cardholder is employed, specifying applicable reductions, allowances, validity period, and important remarks.
If applicable for the employee, you specify the associated SI reductions and allowances in the Social Insurance Belgium (0100) infotype.
Note: There are a number of exceptional cases where the entitlements and validity period specified on the employee's job card do not correspond to the employee's actual Activa conditions. These cases are described, as follows:
- If the employee is rehired within 30 months after the complete/partial period in which Activa entitlements (SI reductions and/or Activa allowances) have been applied.
- The employee is impacted by transitional Activa regulations, that bridge exceptional Activa circumstances with standard Activa regulations.
For more information regarding Activa conditions and regulations, refer to the information published by the National Employment Office.
