Documentation
Definition
Indicates the exemption wage type used for dismissal tax exemption processing.
Use
Dismissal tax exemption amounts must be reported in separate Belcotax declaration zones. As a result, each dismissal tax exemption amount is stored in a separate wage type.
The system creates the exemption wage types as a result of the BEDTE payroll function. The BEDTE payroll function uses the base wage type amounts to calculate and assign dismissal exemption amounts. The exemption amounts are stored in the exempted amount wage types.
These wage type and coresponding amounts are used in dismissal tax exemption processing.
Dependencies
If a corresponding overrule wage type exists, then the exempted amount wage type is not used for dismissal tax processing; the amount in the overrule wage type is used.
