Definition
Indicates the quarter for which you will declare a social insurance (SI) declaration for the employee (student).
Procedure
A declaration quarter is a single-digit number (1, 2, 3 or 4). Quarters correspond to months, as follows:
- Quarter 1 - January to March
- Quarter 2 - April to June
- Quarter 3 - July to September
- Quarter 4 - October to December
Since a student contract cannot exceed one year, you can only plan (and declare) five quarters for a student employee. The fifth quarter enables partial quarters to be planned.
