Definition
Specifies the date on which the dismissal notice period starts for an employee.
Use
During a dismissal notice period, an employee may be entitled to a partial tax exemption (subject to prerequisites). A dismissal tax exemption is valid once a year but can be partially carried forward to the following year if not fully consumed.
Note: The start date of the dismissal period is not the same as the dismissal notification date. For more information, see the Dismissal notification date field.
Dependencies
When a new Contract Elements (0016) infotype record is created during a month, and the Dismissal notice period field contains a value, then the P0100 and P0101 payroll functions create a split in the corresponding payroll tables (SI and TAX).
