Documentation
Definition
Indicates the type of Dimona declaration that applies to the selected employee.
Use
This field is either manually or automatically specified, as follows:
- If you prepare and report the Dimona declaration manually (via telephone or Web site), you specify the declaration type manually
- If you prepare the declaration data using the Dimona Declaration: Preparation (RPCDIPB0) report, the system automatically specifies the declaration type. The value is stored in the electronic declaration file when the Dimona Declaration: Generation (RPCDIGB0) report is executed
In both cases, the applicable declaration type depends on the employment events and infotype data available for the employee. Valid declaration types include the following:
- Dimona IN
For newly hired employees. This declaration type signals the start of the employer and employee work relationship and must be reported no later than when the employee begins work. When this relationship is declared to the National Office for Social Security, the relationship is assigned a Dimona Period ID. This identifier is the equivalent of the Declaration Number returned in the notification file. - Dimona OUT
For employees leaving the company. This type of declaration has to be reported no later than one day following the contract termination. - Dimona UPDATE
Applies if the hiring or leaving date for the employee has been changed and the change occurs before the initially reported date. - Dimona CANCEL
Applies to employees who do not attend their start date of employment (and who will not fulfill their contract). As a result, the Dimona declaration is cancelled.
Dependencies
This field is used in conjunction with other declaration fields to uniquely identify the occupation period. The occupation period is used to prevent reporting duplicate and overlapping records to the Belgian authorities.
Note that for declaration changes (Out, Update, Cancel), the Dimona Period ID is used as the identifier for the period during which the change is applied. In these cases, the declarations also receive a new Declaration Number and the Dimona Period ID remains unchanged.
