Definition

Indicates the basic CO2 emission percentage; this reference emission value is determined according to the car's fuel type. This value is revised annually by the Beligian authorities.

Use

The basic CO2 emission percentage is increased or decreased as follows:

• The basic CO2 percentage is increased when the company car exceeds the reference emission value; the increased value cannot exceed the maximum CO2 emission percentage as defined by the Belgian authorities
• The basic CO2 percentage is decreased when the company car emission is lower than the reference emission value: the decreased value cannot be lower than the minimum CO2 percentage as defined by the Belgian authorities

Dependencies

• The basic CO2 reference value can be changed using the Define CO2 Emission Percentages and Limits Customizing activity
• The basic CO2 reference value is used in the Company Car (Belgium) (B0442) payroll function
