Documentation
Definition
Specifies the employer class that applies to the employee and their complementary indemnity payments. The employer class determines the employee's entitlements with respect to indemnity payments.
Use
You use this field to specify the industry class to which the employer belongs.
The employer class is used for both social insurance (SI) calculations and for DmfA reporting purposes.
The class is automatically determined based on the values defined in the Social Insurance BE (0100) infotype.
Dependencies
Note that if you can change the employer class in the Indemnity Defintion (3270) infotype, the system does not change the employer class recorded in the Social Insurance BE (0100) infotype. Similarly, if you change the employer class recorded in the Social Insurance BE (0100) infotype, the system does not change the employer class recorded in the Indemnity Defintion (3270) infotype.
