Definition
Indicates the number of times that an indemnity payment is planned for the employee.
Use
You use this field to specify the planned number of indemnity payments for this employee within the reference capitalization period. The field is used to determine the reference indemnity payment period.
This field is not reported to the social insurance authorities.
Dependencies
This field is stored in the Indemnity Payment (BE) (3271) infotype, and is used by the Read Data for Complementary Indemnity Payments (P3270) payroll function.
Example
Consider an employee who will receive indemnity payments within a reference capitalization period of 48 months. The number of planned indemnity payments can be determined as follows :
- If you would like to make a single indemnity payment within the period; the number of planned payments is 48/48 = 1
- If you would like to make quarterly indemnity payments within the period; the number of planned payments is 48/3 = 16
- If you would like to make annual indemnity payments within the period; the number of planned payments is 48/12 = 4
