Definition
Specifies the allowance subgroup that applies to the employee.
Use
You use this field to specify the allowance subgroup that applies to the employee.
The allowance subgroup provides a means of grouping indemnity records (with similar master data characteristics). This grouping is used for subsequent calculations and processing, such as social insurance (SI), payroll, and DMFA.
Dependencies
Note that the grouping capability enabled by the allowance subgroup has no regulatory or reporting basis. Rather, it is a feature that can be adapted by the employer to suit their unique calculation and processing requirements.
